Divas from Past to Future (The cut-out leotard)

Two very inspirational women with iconic fashion trends who also stun fans with their incredible vocal performances. Tina Turner’s long lasting career, her energetic, vivacious stage, called the  “The Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll.” In 1979, Tina Turner performed at the Carré theater in Amsterdam, dressed in a leather leotard with lace accents and a deep plunging neckline by an unknown designer. Beyoncé who preformed in 2013 at the Super bowl also wore something similar. Beyoncé has often referred to Tina Turner as one of her icons and the duo came together for a performance during the 2008 Grammys where they sang Proud Mary. At Beyoncé's Super bowl halftime show, Beyoncé performed in a leotard bearing  resemblance to Tina Turner’s 1979 costume.
